Delivered in partnership with Bulwell Forest Garden, we go beyond the traditional summer camp experience by immersing our young adventurers into the exciting world of bushcraft and survival. Each themed activity day is carefully designed to challenge and inspire young minds. Our adventurers are guaranteed to have a blast while sharpening their problem-solving, teamwork and survival skills.

Robin Hoods Hideout

Deep within the enchanting Bulwell Forest Garden lies a hidden base camp, the secret stronghold of Robin Hood's legendary band of merry men. Welcome to Summer Survival Camp, Our Robin Hood special where you will embark on an immersive adventure like no other. Prepare to step into the shoes of these fearless outlaws as you navigate the challenges that lie ahead.
We must also embrace the spirit of Robin Hood's noble cause – to rob from the rich and give to the poor. Work together with your fellow campers to uncover precious treasures, and then share your findings with those in need.
There are whispers that a very special guest may grace us with their presence. Could it be the legendary Robin Hood himself drawn to the spirit of adventure and camaraderie that fills the air? Keep your eyes peeled… and watch out for the sherif.

LOCATION AND COSTS

Our Summer camps run in partnership with Bulwell Forest Garden and take place on their beautiful 2 acre secured site.

Summer Survival Camp runs from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, giving your child ample time to learn, play, and make new friends. The cost for this incredible immersive experience is just £25 per child per day.

WHAT TO BRING

Your child will need to bring a packed lunch, water bottle and a morning snack with them. Please ensure they wear sensible shoes or trainers and clothing that you don't mind them getting messy in! Please no flip flops. Sun cream is essential during our summer camps, so please ensure this is applied before the activity club begins.


SAFETY

Safety is our utmost priority. Our experienced staff members are trained in first aid, safeguarding and outdoor safety protocols to ensure that your child is always in good hands. We maintain a low staff-to-camper ratio, allowing us to provide individual attention and guidance to every child.


FIRST TIME WITH US?

Don't worry if your child is feeling a bit nervous. We understand that trying something new can be daunting, especially for our young adventurers. That's why we go the extra mile to create a warm and welcoming environment. Our friendly staff members are experts at making everyone feel comfortable, encouraging shy adventurers to come out of their shells, make friends and enjoy all that Summer Survival Camp has to offer.


SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

We provide a range of accommodations for SEN children, including visual aids, sensory-friendly spaces, and additional staff support as needed. Our goal is to ensure that every child can fully engage in our activities, make friends, and have a memorable experience. We welcome open communication with parents and guardians to better understand their child's needs and preferences. By working together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment that allows every child to thrive.
